Begin my investing career while the stock market is low. Screw paying the student loan right away, I'll do that over time just like everyone else. :)

SMU is expensive, luckily scholarships cover a lot for me, especially considering I'll be here for ~5 more years if I do the MBA/Law program that I plan to.

Pay 30% of my student loans.

They talk about student loans being not all that bad, and not to pay them off early. With parts of the loan at 6.8%, the other above 7%, I don't see how that is that is really true. Especially considering what else would I put the money in? The rate of return on most everything is crap.
