I'd get the Leadtek. Wow, I can't believe Nvidia made good on their promise. They were not a second late making sure cards were available. That is truly outstanding.

Does it say $649 for anyone else?

Here comes the price-gouging

*edit* that's messed up, its back down to $599. Feel sorry for those poor suckers that ordered at $649!!!

Considering there is no announced AGP variant of the 7800GTX at the moment I thought it would be assumed, but none the less, info added to the title.

I thought they weren't allowed to actually go on sale until 6AM PDST, so maybe Newegg goofed and had to take it down...? I would think it would say OOS instead of just dissapearing

This is crazy. A few years ago, we saw new high-end cards released at a $299 price point. Then I think either the GF3 or GF4 line bumped up the starting price for the high-end model to $399. Then we moved up to $499. And now $599?!

Like CheesePoofs said, you can have two entire computers for that price. I thought I paid too much for a sub-$300 X800 XL!

Yeah, video cards don't seem to hold their value well at all, despite the ever increasing prices.

If you want a great deal, get a 9500 pro or geforce ti4x00 on eBay for ~$50 shipped. Thats taking advantage of video card depreciation.

This price is way out of reach for me. I'll be looking for a ~$250 x800xt AIW AGP, that'll do just fine.
