For being the fastest card out on the market right now, i think Nvidia has the right to charge such a high price. It's the same for all new hardware tho.

Anybody thinking to buy an Nvidia card should always go with BFG. I'm not even talking about the factory overclock, I'm more towards the lifetime warranty.

My 5900 Ultra busted on me and they replaced it with a 6800GT WITHOUT a receipt. Now that's service.

If you want a great deal, get a 9500 pro or geforce ti4x00 on eBay for ~$50 shipped. Thats taking advantage of video card depreciation.

This price is way out of reach for me. I'll be looking for a ~$250 x800xt AIW AGP, that'll do just fine.

Not if I beat you to it:) That's what I'm looking for to "finish off" my nF2 with an AMD 2400+ mobile clocked at 2.2 GHz (or 2.3 during winter months). With my setup, I think a faster card than a X800XT would be totally CPU limited.

I got screwed by a "Lifetime Warranty" on a video card from some company. Can't remember who. Turns out "Lifetime" meant the life of the product, so when my card died, they wouldn't replace it because it wasn't made anymore.

phantasm10- that's right, it's one of the other companies though (I don't remember which one). BFG's is actually really lifetime.

(Hint: if thinking of placing an "order" you may want to type a certain url before adding item to cart. Example, if I want to check rewardzone I would go www.bestbuy.com/rewardzone :)) Coupon will bring price down to $550 before tax. Coupon says no computer hardware, but took effect on my order. 2nd day shipping is pretty reasonable at $8.

Edit: Link to BFG 7800GTX on BestBuy.com

Thanks again, Eymar! My order is showing shipped now, complete with a tracking number, (which since it's Sunday obviously means they have it boxed up and a shipping label printed for UPS pickup). Should get the card Wednesday. Coupon appears to have worked perfectly! Highly recommend people Google up the coupon link and have at this deal. I doubt you'll find a BFG for under $550 ($558 shipped) anytime soon! I'm in the Reward Zone as well, so I'll get almost $20 back as Best Buy gift certificates toward future orders, bringing my functional price down to $539.65!
