7800gtx at 500/1300?

I see alot of 7800gtx overclockers running lower than mine? just wondering if I got a freak card or if you guys are using something other to show true frequencies?

My card runs games all day long at 500/1300 with the stock cooler. (430/1200 stock)

Im using the nvidia drivers with the registry hack...
 
Well 500 comes out to 540 mhz for geometry and 513 mhz ROP/Shader so not many cards can handle that. Mine maxes out at 490 mhz core.

Yeap that's true. Mine could do 485/1300 with stock cooler for 24/7 and with Silencer Rev.3 did only 490/1310(autodetect)...

Strangely enough the speed shows up as 564Mhz in Rivatuner, while the 2D 275Mhz shows up fine.
 
Mine prob would do 500, memory is compleatly spent thoe and would only do 1260 before I replaced that elmers glue tape with proper thermal paste. Hoping and praying the 512mb will use better memory, not that I'm upgrading soon. Its just memory is the real weak spot of the 7800GTX.

Same here, even after NV Silencer addition.

I can do 490/1370/80

I need more voltage
 
Ok, so maybe I got a decent card, just my 3dmark05 scores seem somewhat slow. overclocked to 500/1300 I get 8300. (athlon 4000+ san diego)
