I've got you beat by a few pennies here and there.
Then again I pay ALL my bills with my cc because:
1) I can't afford what I need or want.
2) Very very very low 3.9% APR on one of my two CitiBank cc's.
3) If I use my Alaska Airlines cc I earn 1 mile per dollar I spend, that racks up pretty quickly when you pay almost all your bills with your cc.
CC in irresponsible wallet = BAD

Wrong. They are more succeptible to fraud. You are not afforded the same consumer rights as a credit card.

It depends on the check card. On my BofA Gold check card I have the same protection as a credit card.Originally posted by: PsychoAndy

I had my check card stolen once and while there wasn't $1000 charged, it was only like $100, BofA returned my money to me before any investigation had taken place.Originally posted by: Viper GTS

Except that the money comes from your account immediately, & even if you get it back eventually you're still out the money until you get it returned.
What happens if someone racks up $1,000 in charges the week rent is due?
