And 633 died from alcohol related deaths.

Yeah but theres nothing the gun grabbers can do about that.

We already tried banning alcohol and look what happened to the crime rate in Chicago.

At some point they will eventually realize its people that are dangerous, not objects.

There is a reason why we are this planets apex predator.

There is one common denominator in the cities like this. Yet sheeple are just too blind to do anything about it.

What are you going to do about it...

I don't live there. If I did, I would look at a different party. There hasn't been a Republican mayor in a very long time. The entire city ran by Dems. Yet they keep on voting Dem, what has it done for them? That is the people I am talking about. What is the definition of insanity?

The worst cities in terms of murders/shootings are Dem ran, and have been for a long time.

There are a lot of good people there, who need help. Sadly they are not getting it. Maybe of Chicago hasn't done a damn thing to help them. All he does is prop himself up for his next job.

That's a good idea. The best way to fix poverty is to poison the water supply.

Ah so Republicans will save them! I figured you'd fucktard out with that bullshit... just wanted you to trot out that old canard... So yep, you aren't going to do shit and neither is any Republican.

Pft!!!

We prefer to deliver our lead at high velocity, as god intended, thanks very much.

To address his terrible argument many, or even most to nearly all, of the least violent cities are Democratic controlled. Maybe it isn’t just about pure partisanship...

Keep on telling the poor they have no responsibility and nothing they do makes a difference to their situations so YOLO, it's working great so far.
Funny thing is that you're actually the one doing all that by telling them that it's their fault because they were born that way.

Every single major city in America, rich and poor, high crime rate and low crime rate, is run by the Democrats, except Indianapolis.
Your correlation isn't a causation, it's just a talking point for ignorant dipshits who call people sheeple because they can't understand the topic of discussion.

no, but making poor personal choices is a major factor in poverty. not solely, but must be acknowledged. Ignoring it as you do only serves to help keep the poor, poor.

I guess that makes sense, in the overall context of this thread, if you believe that being born to poverty is a poor personal choice.
Because what really keeps the poor poor IMO are shitty schools, little to no higher educational opportunities, no contacts in the trades, limited sales networking opportunities because the people in your network can't afford to buy anything, no trust fund or inheritence, and limited employment opportunities because the 'smart people' know that 'their kind' make 'poor personal choices.'

They must have a scarcity of good eye doctors in Chicago because boy can the people there shoot, but they can't seem to shoot straight on target very well. 70+ shot and only 11 dead? Pathetic.

This is all true. The war on drugs doesn't help either. It creates a lucrative and deceptively attractive alternative to slogging it through crappy schools to try and earn a decent living. Yet it rarely ever leads to anything other than a criminal background, thereby eliminating the choice to even try and earn a decent living. We could break that cycle. We could re purpose all that money we spend jailing the poor (and supporting them on welfare for the rest of their life after prison) and use it instead for education and fixing the crappy schools.
