74% of Republicans on Obamacare are satisfied with it

What was more surprising is that people who got the new coverage were generally happy with the product. Overall, 73 percent of people who bought health plans and 87 percent of those who signed up for Medicaid said they were somewhat or very satisfied with their new health insurance. Seventy-four percent of newly insured Republicans liked their plans. Even 77 percent of people who had insurance before — including members of the much-publicized group whose plans got canceled last year — were happy with their new coverage.

Just in time for the Boehner lawsuit to take away their subsidy because their state has failed to set up an exchange. :awe:

Pray tell, in what fairytale are people paying higher premiums and MASSIVELY increased deductibles satisfied with their health care?

When other people are subsidizing those premiums?

Not sure why this is a surprise. Polling always showed people liked the parts of Obamacare that involved them getting stuff. They just didn't like the parts that involved paying for it.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...

I heard from a guy, that once knew a gal he dated that she saw someone, who listened in on a conversation, about another guy that was living across from a family that had their roof done by a guy that said ACA wasn't herp-a-derp.

Eat it OP. My herp-a-derpness trumps your "proof".

:colbert:

I'm satisfied with mine. My deductible went up a thousand bucks and I lost a couple (marginal) hospitals from the system, but I don't consider that to be too high a price to help insure all the uninsurable. It's certainly better than I expected half a year ago.

As a far right wing republican, I am not happy with how much I am spending on health insurance.

I call shenanigans on the article.

I got tri-care, union sponsored comprehensive retirement supplemental and the wifey's got us a family plan from her employer. My kids are in school and covered until age twenty six.

So far so good.

Nothing changed for me (my deductible/copay/max out of pocket is the same as it has been for over 5 years), then again I work for a self insured employer.

In the real world, they are satisfied. But you are free to "deskew" the poll for us.

Smack-a-lacka-lacka!

Thank You!

The faux framing of right wing talking points is utterly shameless. They must think people are complete idiots, and some obviously are.

They like the conservative parts of Obamacare not the liberal parts.

I have faith that every right winger who knows you is firmly convinced that some people are idiots.

You say herp a derp in every post of yours. Are you herp a derp?

Obamacare... not quite as shitty as you thought 😛

I'm guessing these satisfaction rating will drop a bit once the IRS penalties kick in.

Wrong. By definition those paying a penalty do not have an Obamacare plan, and so will not be counted.😎

Obama care, better than the shit we had before, but still a step in the wrong direction.

At least I can understand the moral attempt to insure as many as possible. I just think that the goal could be better accomplished. I don't think it will do much to reduce costs, but I hope it helps more than it hurts.

From your other comments, it's obvious that you, too, live in a fairytale, huh?

Somebody is trying to put this into an Escher frame, and it's not us.

I realize it's a touchy subject for all the nay-sayers & doom predictors, all the Repub politicians who set out to make it into Obama's Waterloo.

It's one of those "Real Man" deals- real Righties never admit they were wrong despite the facts, figures & public opinion polls to the contrary. They have principles, goddamit, truthiness foremost among them.

Anyone notice how the question is specifically "Are you happy with the coverage" like that is the only consideration with the ACA?

Reduce costs? It's forcing everyone to buy a product, and even making those who already had the product buy a "better" version of the same product. I am not sure what economics class would try and teach that forcing people to buy a product is not increasing demand and therefore increasing price.

Well I'm glad we "fixed" healthcare for everyone and nobody gets substandard care anymore, especially in inner cities. Now Democrats can get back to their true love, railing about "income inequality" and thinking up ways to take money from the middle class.
