7Eleven in Taiwan is awesome. They're bright and clean, they have pretty good prepared food (baozi and lunch boxes), you can mail stuff, pay your bills and parking tickets, make copies and faxes, and the workers are young and very friendly. Stuff isn't marked up in price as much as in the States, and you can buy oddball stuff there (toilet plunger, disposable underwear, Hello Kitty stationary).
It's good stuff.
Walking out of my wife's house, I can look up and down the street and see six 7Elevens and one Family Mart. I know of three more that are around blocks and out of my line of sight.
Again, good stuff.
Japan has far fewer 7Eleven stores. I mostly saw amPM stores there.
yeah, the 7-11 in taiwan is amazing, in fact they sell food that's good enough to serve in the restaurant here in the states. check out www.7-11.com.tw
