I really don't have a problem with doing the rally the same day. People made arrangements & traveled for miles to be there.
Well, for me, empathy and CLASS trumps the inconvenience of a group of partisans.

The problem is Trump not the rally, I think. If Obama or Bush would've held a rally the same day as a shooting like this, it would've been a message of unity and healing, which would've been fine. Trump, however, just uses his rally to spread more hate and lies. That is why it seems so offensive when Trump does it. It's like the Red Cross hiding fundraiser events during a tragedy, vs the NRA holding a rally after a school shooting.

That said I think both Obama and Bush would've cancelled a political rally the day of a mass shooting.

Jewish Group Tells Trump To Stay Away From Pittsburgh: 'You Are Not Welcome'

Good for them. Decent people having some self respect. Pittsburgh doesn't need more trash in their city. This is the answer.

Whereas the actual rabbi of the actual synagogue, as opposed to a group of democrat activists, says Trump is always welcome.

They're doing the same exact thing they did when Roofe went on his church shooting spree to kill black people. Disgusting.

"Oh this isn't racial, no! It's anti-religion." The evangelical victim project can't let dead Jewish people have all the limelight, not when there is political hay to be made. So disgusting.

Show me a republican who plays along with this sick shit and I'll show you someone who prefers playing politics over being human.

Trump only considered cancelling the rally because he had a "bad hair day". His words not mine

So...black church shooting was thwarted (without needing armed guards) so a nationalist executes 2 black people at a grocery store instead. A MAGA Man sends pipe bombs to 14 Democrats, and another nationalist shoots up a synagogue.

Oh, but we're supposed to believe this had nothing to do with Trump, his deplorable rallies, or Trump calling himself a "nationalist".

Nope, this is just a bad hair week for America. Move along.
anti Semitic violence is up 57% in 2017. Anyone think we all of a sudden have 57% more anti Semites??

My Jewish Republican useful idiot friends and relatives are hilarious. They are always bashing AntiFa, and when I point out to them that the guys AntiFa is fighting want them dead, they pretend like these guys with neonazi tattoos are just upstanding citizens going for a walk.
Did they listen to the chants of the tiki torchbearers in Charlottesville? Maybe turn sound up to 10?

The Mayor of Pittsburgh has made the following request of Trump...
“If the president is looking to come to Pittsburgh, I would ask that he not do so while we are burying the dead,” Peduto said. “Our attention and our focus is going to be on them, and we don’t have public safety that we can take away from what is needed in order to do both.”

Trump's response, fuck the dead, I'm going to Pittsburgh on funeral day.
