Unfortunately "good thoughts" do little to replace the loss these people are suffering. Additionally, "good thoughts" do little to prevent this from happening again. I guess if you really don't give a fuck about actually acting to prevent such a "terrible act of hate" in the future, you can have all the "good thoughts" you want.

I’m sure your thoughts and prayers are deeply comforting for the friends and families of those murdered there.

Maybe instead of that we should try to prevent the next tragedy.

Regarding my own situation, I'll heed my own counsel, but most people aren't well equipped for defensive situations in either training or temperament. That's why I insisted on my daughter taking professional instruction that I approved of and no she doesn't carry a firearm.

He had to have others to hate, he had to have someone to blame for everything that his bent mind sees as wrong with the world. That's not politics, it's crazy.
