I've got an Excel macro that does the processing for me, but I still have to go to the F@H website and copy all first.
They used to make team files available every three hours for the top 1000 teams.

Look around over there, I bet they are still available.

x4 970BE or x6 1055T. That is the question. Would be a minimal OC if any at all since the case has beyond garbage cooling.

This is all hypothetical of course.

x6, no question. You could get it to the same clocks (or nearly) as the 970BE in the same thermal/power envelope if you are mildly lucky 🙂

Hypothetically.

Hurray, I'm not last!

Entertaining that I have 8 rigs running and my PPD is.. well.. abysmal 🙂

The GPU does't count as a seperate client, does it?

Can't figure out what my 9th client is, lol.

I see what my issue is. Not enough A2 (A3?) cores finished so I am not getting bonus points? I expect my ppd to get some lift in the next week or so then...

And I need to get a passkey entered. Sheesh, so many wasted points...

Alright, I am getting into this race now. For real - I expect to crunching -bigadv units (with bonus points!) by this weekend, then we'll see what's what 😀

All this talk about ramping up is making me feel threatened. Therefore I will in respond in kind by adding 4 additional GPUs into the race!

Awesome, Zip! I can't bring myself to throw my 5870 into the ring yet - the spousal approval factor of firing up that hair dryer (at speed) in our shared office is low.

I am just bummed about how much ppd is based on clients that have the passkey loaded! 10k ppd with no freaking bonus points... I am anxious to see how that ramps up with the bonus...

Geez, do you work at a gpu manufacturing facility? What would it be like to be able to just add gpu's in to the mix at will? 😉
Look forward to seeing the results!

Hang in there! You'll reap your reward in no time. As for the computer with the 5870, anyway to relocate the computer?

Haha! Those GPUs were sitting idle because I was concerned with the amount of heat that would be dumped into the room (3 of the 4 are in one room). Weather cooled quite a bit yesterday so hopefully temperature will stay acceptable.

2 of the 4 GPUs are running now. Good for another 22k-ish PPD. The X3 720 is having some stability issues so until I sort that out, I won't be able to fire up the GPU in that rig. When I get home tonight, I will fire up the GTX 580 in my gaming rig.

X6 1055T soon to be up and running. Need to install ubuntu. I'm making the X6 my HTPC, and turning the current HTPC which is only an X3 into just a DC rig. Switched over the GTS450 to the new machine, and have the GT440 running in the "old".
So, my ppd should incease.

As of 9am central time this morning, I surpassed my total for last years race.
304,180 month to date versus 304,006 for December 2010.

Nice work! Congrats on the accomplishment.

Here are the December 08, 2011 stats:

FAH-Race-Dec8-2.JPG

Today the folders produced slightly more than 74% of the TeAm´s total production. well done!

DOH. It wasn't even that late in the evening, so I can't blame fatigue. Getting over a sinus infection will be my excuse.

It seems that I will need to restructure the teams Saturday. We can not have a runaway victory for any team ... we need the tension and the fighting spirit ... 🙂 😱

Move to USA complete, New SilverStone FT02B has arrived and my main rig is out of storage for first time in 6 months 😀

Coming at you brownstone/Uppsala9496!

(Although this does mean leaving my cell phone in my apartment to act as a modem as I don't have cable yet 🙁 )
