Okay, so I have a 6800GT and 2 Dell 2005FPWs.
I figured out horizontal span mode, so I got that under control as far as the desktop goes.
What I can't figure out, is how i can make Windows media player, or any media player for that matter, just go to fullscreen on one monitor.
What happens is that when I go to fullscreen, the program goes to fullscreen, but the video only shows the left half of the video on the left screen, I can't see the right side of the video.
The same kind of thing happens when I delete something, and a confirmation popup (click ok) comes up. Basically, I guess the video is trying to center itself in the middle of the "desktop". I want to be able to watch a fullscreen video on one screen, but be able to have something, like firefox, running on the other monitor.
Lastly, with one monitor, I can run Day of Defeat (a FPS i play) at 1600x1200. When I'm using 2 monitors I can only play at 1024x768. Fortunately at least, it plays on one monitor.
If you need any more specifics, please ask. Because of the 6800GT, one monitor is on a DVI connection, the other is on a VGA connection. The DVI connection for the other monitor is used by VOOM satellite (looks great, might i add).
Thanks for your help,
