Ok, so, I'd had another topic on my GPU problem, but this has manifested into something so much worse. Ok, starting today, my GPU is running hot... real hot. It will open at around 50-60 degrees... standard... and then begin to steadily climb into the 90s and even 100s. But nothing's happening! I can simply open nView and look at the temperature guage and watch it rise. I have no clue what's going on.
Card: eVGA e-GeForce 6800 Ultra
Speeds: (Using PowerStrip) 3D and 2D settings are both 400/1100
BIOS Changes:
Disabled AGP Fast Write
AGP 8X
Aperature Size: 128 (taken down from 256 as nVidia recommended, even though 256 is quite shy of half of my total RAM [2GB])
PCI Latency: 128
IRQ to VGA enabled
That's all I can remember at this second... system specs if you need them:
CPU: AMD Athalon 64 FX-55
MOBO: ASUS A8V Deluxe
GPU: eVGA e-GeForce 6800 Ultra
RAM: 2GB Corsair
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum Pro
