That's pretty much what we had yesterday up here in Northern IL, winds are still at like 20mph today but temp has dropped back down to 40 or so.64 here in Michigan with 25 mpg winds. Totes normal.

I keep telling myself I'm going to buy some cross country skis when we have a winter with good snow but I don't think that's going to happen anymore, might as well just buy them now and drive up into WI to use them before it's too late.
Yeah growing up seemed like we would have snow on the ground most of the winter, now it always seems to warm up after it snows and everything melts.Yeah, when I moved to Michigan I was expecting brutal winters and tons of snow. Instead, it's just lots of wind, floods, droughts, and mild temperatures.
I think I live in the same general area as you, had a ton of branches down from the wind yesterday/last night in our yard luckily nothing fell on our cars though.Yea, it was 65F here yesterday by the IL/WI border on 12/15.
It didnt cool down below 65F until after midnight!
There was constant 30+ mph wind with gusts of 60-65mph all night.
Car wash is shut down.
Fuck America.
We were near Bay city Saturday in those crazy winds. With the huge amount of leaves around I got to drive through my first leafnado. Would not recommend64 here in Michigan with 25 mpg winds. Totes normal.

Tornado(s) with wind speeds up to 192 mph, it was reported tonight over the past few days.63 today here. Will stay in the high 50's tonight. Good for tonight's excursion to the city to see some art and get good eats.
Thanks CO2!
20 years from now people in the Midwest will be having Christmas outside in the park at picnic tables and grilling hotdogs.
