Great, can't wait to get one NEXT YEAR cuz we all know their will be nil availability.
After all, its been 4 MONTHS since the 6800 Ultra cam out, and their nay impossible to get.
Why doesn't nVidia just wait until mid-September to issue the press release, so then folks who read it know they can probably get one within two weeks, instead of 4-8 weeks from now!

I'm leaning towards the notion of getting a dual PCI-X16 mobo now, what better way to upgrade hraphics than just buy ANOTHER CARD! double your power yo!Plus that sounds really cool, 2 cards are better than one eh
EDIT: Think about it, what if nvidia branches this SLI thing down to its lowest end cards? The possibilities would be interesting.

It uses a .11 micron process. Its a totally different chip, it will not have extra pipelines.

When these cards are released, I dont think itll be worth persuing sli on a geforce 5200/5700/5900. 149 is already pretty low-end hwen you consider the $500 for a 6800 ultra.
As for comparisons to 9800 series cards, the 20% number was mentioned, which is probably pretty accurate.

Yeah, this is getting old! When the hell is someone going to give us a review of the PVP???? I can't make heads or tails from that little tease.Originally posted by: chsh1ca
Their video comparisons kinda get me. Is that really what NV video in has been like? I use an ATI TV-Wonder to do my tuning and it looks like the 6600's NEW crap. My TV-Wonder is pushing 4 years since I bought it, so that hardly seems groundbreaking. Maybe I'm missing something.
