why'd you change the avatar to the platypus?

I think it looks cooler, and I changed it at another fusetalk forum I visit that doesn't have the 'cat' icon. Figure I would be redundant.

Check it out. Doesn't seem like a great PSU, plus for the $110 you could get a seasonic 500w or enermax liberty 500w or enhance 0560g or something really good.

Yeah doesn't look good on that 550 Mushkin, I wonder how the 650 fairs?

Lots more PSUs added to the LIST!

More input and reviews PLEASE on these new ones not listed before...

That only one power supply is the "best" when one's needs are considered. Hence, my belief that your list can be shortened considerably.

I see now what you where trying to get across, and I never mentioned anything about a "Best" psu. If you look back to the post it says:

Can we get some feedback on these 600W models, what people think and recommend for high-end Crossfire & SLI gaming?

The purpose of this post was to get feedback on all these models. The topic of best was not a consideration, maybe I used that word, or someone else did too, but again the topic of discussion was to list many of the major 600w PSUs and have some talk on them, and listen to user input.

Ok now I just thought about this. With Vista and DX10 around the corner, people are saying that DX10 cards will take up a few hundred watts more, WOW! 🙁

With that being said for the GameRig in my SIG, a SLI box running 2x 7900 GTS, and later moving into DX10 capable cards, this sounds like someone will need a 800W-900W PSU, yes, or somewhere close to this?

Hey Scott,

I wanted to revise my earlier statement about the free shipping.
At flickertown, the site where i bought that PCP&C 610, i was supposed to get charged shipping even though i did eventually get free shipping.
I was told that google checkout screwed up and didn't add shipping. The owner gave me a break and just gave it to me for $151 and change.
I did get it quick and the owner seems cool.

I'll keep you posted on how she runs.

Say I'd really LOVE to hear about Zippy PSUs, I've been hearing some great things about them.

For gaming what's the difference between the Zippy "PSL Series" & "GSM Series"?

Well if you're going to point us to a URL, the least you can do is point us to the PSUs so we don't have to dig around. 😉

Here's the URL you should of given us ----> http://store.myaopen.com/gsm6600p.html

Since it's the ONLY PSU that qualifys for this post which is for 600W Crossfire & SLI PSUs.

By the way more important then pricing right now is getting some feedback on these, namely my previous question, what's the difference between the "PSL Series" & "GSM Series"?

THANKS
