Cross-posting, eh?

Huh?
When I come across a thread without my reply in it and I think I've posted a reply, it's usually because there are multiple threads and I went to one of the others. This doesn't seem to be the case, though, because I can't find the other thread.

I'm damned sure I replied, though... damned good-for-nothing search function.

Anyway, the Supermicro PWS-0060 is a candidate, though it has fairly short cables.

You may as well link to the reviews Jonny's done on some of the ones you picked.

BOY talk about ASSUMPTIONS! LOL 😉

Anyone have a stick?

Your forgiven, and just so you remember in the future DASFOX doesn't do cross posting. 😉

Maybe you should also add the Enhance ENS-0560G from eWiz to your list. It is server/workstation rated (ENS series) with long (22"/55cm) main connector pigtails. A lot of PSU for under $100.

.bh.

Cool thanks Zepper, added to the list! 😉

P.S. One other thing, if I'm buying dual core again it's a 4800, because I just sold a X2 3800, but I don't see myself spending the money on a 4800, when I can get a single core 3700 at $98.

AMD's cpu prices are still to high for the X2s. In fact computer parts are just to expensive, and I'm not falling for all the high prices anymore, better to wait for the cuts in prices or buy more practical hardware, where differences are slight.

Now we're talking Zeus, well the first link you gave me was for a ST60F, which is a "Strider Series" 😉

I never really thought about the Zeus actually, hmmm

Aspire is getting some descent reviews as of late...
Don`t know about whats under the hood.
We know Aspire doesn`t make there own PSU`s.

yet is that really an issue? To some maybe to other I seriously doubt it.
I checked 7 different sites and they all gave Aspire pretty good reviews.....

But then again when is too much knowledge too much?

Just because certain parts are used arguments can be made iether way...

Good...bad......possibly let the consumer decide.......

Thats a novel idea.......lol

Be a man. Get a Kilowatt PSU

Don't be stupid. Get that only if you have quad SLi, 8 raptors, a physics card, sound card, 3 dvd burners, peltier cooling, 4gb RAM and dual fx62s.

Don't worry. I'll never pay 400 bucks for a PSU.

I only paid 40 bucks for my 600 watter from Mr. Tech(who I think is out of business)

With the exception of the ST52F which I'd hitherto never heard of, the Zeus supplies have a Z in their designation. The ST60F is of the Strider series.

ATI's newer high end GPUs are going to suckup 250W. :Q

It is only a matter of time before we will need a micro naquadah reactor to power our gaming machines. 😛
