BFG (600W)
http://www.bfgtech.com/power_supply_600W.html

Not sure..but I'd pass on this one.^^^

Corsair (HX620w)
http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/HX_power_supply.html

Very good unit, built on the Seasonic M12 platform. Highly recommended.^^^

Enermax (Liberty 620W)
http://www.enermax.com.tw/english/product_Display1.asp?PrID=5

Good unit, few problems posted, reviewed well.^^^

FSP (Epsilon 600 FX600-GLN)
http://www.fsp-group.com.tw/english/1_p...2_detail.asp?mainid=1&fid=98&proid=461

Issues with ripple going out of spec at full load. Uses OST caps on the output side..Pass on this one ^^^

OCZ (PowerStream)
http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/p...rstream_power_supply-nvidia_sli_ready_

No comment on OCZ. DFI-Street fanboyies love'em..^^^

OCZ (GameXStream)
http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/p...ocz_sli_ready_gamexstream_power_supply

See the above OCZ comment. Some OCZs are based on the Epsilon and suffer thier issues.

PC Power and Cooling (Silencer 610 EPS12V)
http://www.pcpowercooling.com/products/viewproduct.php?show=S61EPS

The bargain PCP&C unit...Read reviews and you decide..^^^

Seasonic (S12-600)
http://www.seasonic.com/product/pc_atx.jsp

Great unit. Highly recommended..^^^

Silverstone (SST-ST60F)
http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-60f.htm

Best bang for the buck in a full modular unit. I paid $99 for mine. Rock stable rails at full load with little O'scope activity.
NOTE: Mine is the Enhance ENS-0560G and is one and the same with the ST60F.
One issue, only 74% efficientcy..^^^

Thermaltake (Toughpower 600W)
http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product/Power/ToughPower/W0103/w0103.asp

Pass big time on this Tt unit. JonnyGURU did review one of thier latest offerings well but not this one..^^^

Sorry this post isn't just for me, but a general post for anyone and everyone looking at getting a 600W PSU, was the point of the post.

ALOHA

I would like to see a sticky for this thread.

I would also like to see a review link for the power supplies and a price.

There is not complete PSU post that I could find and this could be a great one.

JohnnyGuru took his website down because of some idiot on the H Forums, so you won't be getting any more help there. But either the Corsair or the Enermax Liberty is your best bet. High reviews from Johnny.

JonnyGURU has stopped reviewing PSUs. Look up his posts and HardForum. On that list, the Enermax, Corsair, Seasonic, PC P&C, and Silverstone are all GREAT PSUs. Just pick which ever one you can get cheapest.

because of some idiot on the H Forums

DavidHammock.

If you want JonnyGuru's reviews to date, here is where to find them: http://www.psuinquisitor.com. His PSU reviews seem to be as good as or better than any other fan-boy site out there.

But as always, fan-boy reviews must be read thru a sturdy BS filter. And I'd like to see testing to failure so we could see scope pictures of what happens at failure point. From my reading in these forums and elsewhere, and recent personal experience 🙁, some PSUs fail gracefully (e.g. the Sparkle FSP400-60PFN that I just sold (when I added one too many HDDs)), and some (e.g. the original Ultra X-Connect ) don't... It would be nice to know which is which before buying.

I never knew till the other day that most of these PSUs are built by someone else. PSUs have always been my weak link in computing.

Corsair, Seasonic, PC P&C, and Silverstone are my considerations at the moment for a 600W 😉

THANKS

P.S. Yes This forum and AnandTech.com needs an ongoing PSU guide.

cross-posting/shotgun posting = more than one thread on same topic posted in different sections by the same poster. Frowned on here.

I know what it is. The huh meant WHO?

I did not cross post anything.

THANKS

bump LATE ENTRY listed for the PSUs. ----> Sharkoon 😉

See the beginning of the post for the URL.

Maybe you should also add the Enhance ENS-0560G from eWiz to your list. It is server/workstation rated (ENS series) with long (22"/55cm) main connector pigtails. A lot of PSU for under $100.
