Just came across this thread. I've been training for the same test. Have you passed Phase II yet? When did you pass Phase I?

My best so far are, although I these were not done in a single practice test which I plan to do this coming weekend:
42 situps
52s 300m
50 pushups (but I think my form was poor on the last few)
11:56 1.5 mile

I've mainly been focusing on situps, pushups, and the distance run. Past few weeks I've been going to the gym in the morning and working on sqats, shoulders, and back--hopefully to help with pushups and the sprint. I think with someone running next to me I could get under 50 seconds.

50 pushups is pretty freaking awesome!

Try doing a mock pft at least once a week at a track somewhere, it makes a HUGE difference in your total score.

Im not putting alot of stock in the fbi applicatiin pool, i plan on getting in great shape so i can compete with a variety of agencies

Ive already accomplished my fitness goals so ive stopped updating my status. But im not even close to peaking or getting.my scores as high as i reasonably can

Just under two months in, my visible physique has changed drastically along with a big drop in anxiety
. Even for those of us who are not seeking employment as an enforcement officer, i would say getting a passing grade on any federal pft is a huge accomplishment

Nice to hear you've reached your goals! I'm curious though, how many situps in a minute are you doing now?

Thanks!

48 right now

Whats questionable is my form. I video taped myself and i was visibly doing more than what protocol asked for, so in my adjustments that probably added 5-8 extra situps.

Hopefully i didnt make too many adjustments, but thankfully my running has been so great that im able to have slack room for error on this area :)

My problem is i do not have great posture, so its tough to tell what part of my shoulderblades is good enough for ground contact and how far up is vertical. Huge difference in contacting.lower blade vs upperbshoulderblade.

Heh, sounds like we've made similar progress in terms of sit ups. I started at 37, you 38, and now we are both at 48 :)
I might record myself next time. It'll be interesting to see how my form is.
I haven't tried to see how many push ups I can do in a while, maybe I'll give that a shot when I get home. I'm not sure I'll be able to do much more than I did last time. As far as running, well, I haven't been running in a very, very long time. Best I could do when I was was a 7:30 one mile on a treadmill.
