What a great interview. I learned a lot about the guy.

Did anyone else watch it? What did you think?

I know very little of his work actually, but he came across incredibly well I thought. It was different than I would have expected at least.

I was more impressed with the guy on before him, and why we SHOULD NOT HAVE MANDATORY MINIMUM SENTENCING FOR NON VIOLENT DRUG OFFENSES!!!!! :|:|:|

This guy was caught selling coke, first offense. He was sentenced to life in prison. During the interview he was telling how he was seeing murders and child molesters get out, and yet here he was in jail for the rest of his life. Insane.

i absolutely HATE CHAPPELLE

Probably because he looks exactly like this Jackass I would always get in fights with in grade 10.

Also they both seem like they have the same personality.

cliffs?

Chapelle is an interesting man.
yeh, thanks for that

Well, not a lot was said. What I found particularly interesting was that he returned to his Ohioian roots and lives on a farm in Ohio, and has the support of his friends, family, and neighbors doing what he does.

Looks like a very happy man.

Is that the interview where he said it was okay for him to use the N word, but that he'd be incredibly offended if a white comedian used it?

One of his faults.

Yeah, I lost a lot of respect for him after that.

Quite a few black comics - and some black people in general - follow that logic. No idea why, but they do. I don't particularly care for it, either.

Hell I agree with him. Fvck you guys.
you agree with blatant racism? hell, even he admits to it.

From what I have seen of him, it seems as if he accepts that he "has to say that" to continue getting respect from more outspoken black activists.

I would find it troublign if he actualyl believed that.
