You cannot hear liberal in any major news network. You need to listen to alternative radio or read. The ordinary media is all conservative to extremely conservative. The extreme conservatives like to pretend the moderate conservatives are liberal.

Yes we have known that Bushes lie for quite some time. If you're a sensative and watched you could see with your own eyes that bush cheney and rice were lying.

How about this. Don't watch news where they try and sound credible by using voice inflections (this drives me Fs;fy8 crazy) and a reporter should never state opinion. Thats all the do now. They are opinion factories not like the old days just the facts approach.

The only news I like is News Hour with Jim Leahr.

Okay, who's been criticising the administration?

Pretty much every network but fox.

Fox..hahahhhhaaaaa......[hack..hack]...okay.

So now the truth shines thru. You laughing at the conservative fox news is and admission that the other news channels are more biased towards your liking. IE liberal. Please go away now.

The thing is the other stations don't claim to be, "Fair and balanced news" or a "No spin Zone."

Well compared to CNN I find fox news to be more fair and balanced. There is no denying fox has a conservative spin, but I do find their news shows much better balanced than the competition.[/quote]

You find it more balanced because you are conservative so you don't see it like liberals do. It is the same thing as when I watch a liberal program; it doesn't stick out to me much because I mostly agree with it.

Do you liberals ever stop whining? I was thinking about that when I was filling up my SUV's gas tanks earlier. Just give it up,you got six more years of GW. Deal with it.

That is exactly right. And so liberals love to slam fox news for that very reason, but see no problems with CNN/CBS/ABC/MSNBC. Conservatives get a news channel and liberals absolutly hate it, surprise. And this news channels is kicking CNN's arse as well.

Conservative...is that what they are? They sound even nuttier than they did when I interned with the Conservative Union fifteen years ago. Oh...and no.

Who's liberal and who's conservative depends on what side of the fence you're on. I find N. American media to have a rather strong liberal bias, which isn't always bad (I'm a libertarian, so that's the way I see it).

its always about liberals vs. conservatives, republicans vs. democrats on ATOT.

Get out of the 'team mentality.' This isn't a football match people. Gather all the information you can, by yourself, from various (international, national, local) news sources, editorials, reports, and then judge for yourselves what you think is true or false. Don't just shoot something down so quick if its something you DONT LIKE to hear. Open your mind, just for a minute or two. Judge for yourself if you think a war with Iraq is justified/unjustified. But conservatives whining about liberals and vice versa won't really get you anywhere. But if you guys are basing your comments off of JUST American channels, you are missing a lot. And those that are basing theirs JUST off of International/"liberal"are missing a lot. I've educated myself from several different sources and have made up my mind what i feel about this U.S. vs. Iraq situation. I suggest you do the same.

I agree. They actually try to present a balance of views. I remember Ted Koppel was pretty fair too, but I haven't watched him in ten years.

I can't stand that chic on Fox with the bug eyes. Ever see her think she caught someone with a question and her eyes bug out even further than they already are? Say this, "Really??", and raise your eyebrows really high. She's 100x that. 🙂

yet another content free post brought to you by hagbard.

Funny how there is a number of parroting content-free posts proclaiming his to be content-free.

At the rate things are going, it will be a shoe in. The economy is picking up and the democratic party is still in disarray.

This is as it should be... how many Americans watch or read anything not originating from within the US? If they did, they wouldn't so easily fall into Bush's traps.

Hey I'm not allowed to talk politics at home so STFU🙂

I don't care where you talk about it. Feel free to talk about it on ATOT. (btw, i'm not specifically pointing out anyone). But if you're gonna talk about it, get rid of the whining. Thats the most pathetic thing i've seen. IF you're joking around thats one thing, but i've seen the same people constantly generalize all liberals think this, or all conservatives think this... really, wherever one talks politics doesn't matter, but to base (as it seems here) so much information from one source (yes i think cnn, fox, abc, and cbs is pretty much one source) is not going to provide anyone with the accurate picture.

How's that different than with Daddy Bush during the Gulf War?

See above. I endorsed Koppel and Leher. Jennings is kind of a jerk (and a Canadian too, that should make you happy, right 😉

Charrison, i can't read Hagards mind,

but if he is merely saying we should read both international and local news reports, he is correct. I'll give a personal example: I'm very concerned about the terrorism in Kashmir. I read both the Times of India and Dawn (Pakistani newspaper) as well as local Kashmiri newspapers and THEN I decide what i feel. Is that going to provide me with a 100% accurate picture? Of course not. The INdians will write shiet that suits them, the Pakistanis will and the Kashmiris will as well. I'm suspect of EVERY media report for it being politically tilted. But i assure you, doing what i do is the best short of flying to Kashmir myself and seeing first hand, or interviewing Kashmiri people of various religions. I think the same approach can be taken with Iraq.
