I do believe we have a flip flop from Biden AND another gaffe while trying to convince everyone he's the choice of black America...

Yeah, he totally flip flopped in like one week.

I did like Booker's line where he says that Biden must have been high when he announced the policy.

We are ironically making Idiocracy into a documentary. The higher intelligence folks "don't have time" for children. Yet for whatever reason lower intelligence has all the time in the world.

The fact is that children are expensive. The lower you are on the income brackets the more benefits that apply to you. The higher your income the more having children will cost you. It's simply a recipe for Idiocracy.

Things like paid leave are a key to ridding ourselves of this stupidity.

My paid leave was absolutely essential - Our daughter was basically born 3 months premature, which basically I used my paid paternity leave for what would have normally been covered by the pregnancy

Always good to have a eugenicist in the forums!

This charge, while arguable, is a step too far given what the poster said. Please do not repeat.

At least he tried. Not his fault there are a bunch of corporatists in the House and Senate.

He did try but he couldn’t get it done. Trump on the overhand, has put it in his budget proposals, it’s a start but it’s about the bare minimum a president could do.

Can you point to the last time a presidents budget was accepted by congress? I can’t.

Yeah what an embarrassment that was for Gabbard.

She could've handled it better, but I don't think she was far off. He never said "Invade Mexico!", but that's not what she suggested he said either. And as far as meeting with despots (minus Gorbachev, perhaps), she was pretty spot on.

He wasn't even talking about the '91 war, where did you get that from? Sanders has consistently criticized Biden for his AUMF vote.

Yes Sanders was criticizing Biden over the AUMF vote but he did add, as an aside, that he was against the Gulf War. He said it directly, and that is likely what Chait is aiming at.

Factually incorrect.

Sanders also said, addressing rival Joe Biden, that while the former vice president backed the war in Iraq, he himself was never in favor of wars, even when Iraq was attacked during the First Gulf War in the early 1990s.

So yea, he said it himself. Maybe if you had watched the debate and not just talking points you would be more informed.

What talking points are you referring to?

No idea. If you were watching the debate and just missed it that's fine. But you were quick to jump on some guy I've never heard of and say it was the 2003 war that was being talked about. "Trust, but verify".

You made a mistake, that's fine. But you were so quick to say "Hang this mutherfucker by his toenails. ". I know we are a very divided country ATM, but please don't act in haste.

If you don't know who Jon Chait is then I understand why my reaction could bother you. He was one of the more prominent "liberal" media figures that supported Bush's invasion. For him to joke about someone else opposing **any** war is absolutely infuriating.

Deflecting I see. If you were watching the debate you would have heard what I heard. But I'm guessing you just saw what hotheads on Twitter posted and didn't do any verification.

Just say you were misinformed/mislead, or would that get in the way of your pride? And you were so quick to say "Hang this mutherfucker by his toenails ". Why is it that leftists get so infuriated by free speech and are quick to act violently, as Antifa does.

OK, good for him. Doesn't mean you still weren't wrong. And no one has questioned my statement about how Obama would never win the primary today.
The issue is it was just a statement that really did not need questioning because it was your opinion backed up by no facts or anything other than your opinion......
