Except it doesn't. It runs a reduced precision path which lacks IQ and also currently it has colour banding problems. And even then it's still a lot slower than a 9700 Pro, a card which can barely run Far Cry at acceptable levels.its funny how my 5900XT runs FarCry on high and most high end video cards

Hahaha, at like 20 fps?I have no problems running the game at 1600X1200 with no AA or AF
True, but in general 30 fps seems to be the standard in console gaming. One other thing is that what player "A" might think is an acceptable frame rate, player "B" might totally disagree. My brother-in-law sets his settings, such as Far Cry, to high for my prefrences. To me it looks choppy and unplayable. To him it runs just fine. Playable frame rates is so subjective to each individual.
With what card?Originally posted by: Genx87

dude rollo if you dont think my card is cutting edge wait till i put this on it http://www.cluboc.net/reviews/heatsinks/thermaltake/extreme_giant3/index.htm i should go from a 5559 to a 6,600 easily with overclocking.
 No your video card is not cutting edge. Go get a 6800Ultra and you will get twice the scores you are now. That's cutting edge.Originally posted by: mynewrigissick

Sheesh "mynewrigissick" you shouldn't flame people for their choice of video card in general, but you especially shouldn't do it when your own card isn't exactly cutting edge.
There are games my four year old's 5800U runs faster than your 5900XT, would you like it if he came on here and posted:
nfwehfuiE FIHJRNFUINU oejskfihuy fgmgurhbyf54dre! Kmn ciu3hn dsnfuwHF!
(translation: "Meh. My 5800U is faster at many games and settings than your 5900XT, due to it's much higher fillrate. Want benches?")
