54% Of Republicans Believe Obama Is A Muslim

In a survey I conducted in the fall of 2014, I asked this question: “Which of these do you think most likely describes what Obama believes deep down? Muslim, Christian, atheist, spiritual, or I don’t know.” Here are the results, broken down by party:

A staggering 54 percent of Republicans said that “Muslim” best described what Obama “believes deep down.” Thirty percent of Republicans answered the way Walker did, by selecting “I don’t know.” Relatively few Republican respondents “take [Obama] at his word,” as Mitch McConnell put it: only 9 percent selected “Christian” to describe what Obama likely believes.

Now, let's look at Barry, the 'deep down' Muslim.

Ordered the execution of the not-so-deep-down, but still fellow Muslim, Osama Bin Laden.

And, he has never attended a Muslim service.

But, you see (or don't), all of that is a facade. Because 'deep down', hidden from they prying eyes of the media and the ever watchful American Conservative Politician - he is a Muslim.

It's damn near the end of his term. Barry is done. Finished. And, the doubts on who he is, still remain.

Why is that? What is going on in the conservative mind, that they refuse to accept Obama for what he says he is?

I mean, there IS considerable proof he is not a Muslim. He was even associated with a controversial Christian preacher; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremiah_Wright_controversy - his former pastor from. You know, pastor, from the Chrisitian church services Obama attended. The Christian congregation he use to be part of.

What gives?

Why would anyone in their right mind believe anything that he says? I have no idea what his actual beliefs are, he'll do or say anything when politically expedient.

Do you believe his beer drinking, pork eating, Muslim killing and burqa-less wife actions are a lie as well? As in he is orchestrating all of this to keep up a lie.

And, what else do you think he lied about on his identity? Do you believe he has he doctored any documents as well?

45% of Democrats think he's a Christian? Clearly those Democrats shouldn't be allowed to vote, what with them voting for a nutjob that they think believes in a magical sky fairy that grants wishes.

maybe this poll has been done by phone at 11 am and they only got hold of senile old people who live on fox news.

I know folks who believe that, allow me to explain their reasoning:

Is of African heritage.
Grew up / was schooled in Muslim Indonesia.
Grew up as Barry, changed to his father's Muslim name.
Did not embrace his white heritage.
Enacted policy to destabilize the Middle East.
Pulled out of Iraq too soon, allowing ISIS to be born.
Working to "give" Iran nuclear weapons.

Everything he does is viewed through the lens of him "being" Muslim.
They are willfully ignorant of his policy being that of the DNC, or how similar it is to Bush's policy.

This is why the country desperately needs some sort of skill based testing before people vote. Just basic proof of proficiency in basic facts. If you cannot prove essential competencies you don't get to do it. let your ignorance's impact be limited.

It's like the 20 year old girl who was sitting next to me in one of my college classes. She asked me who I was voting for that year, probably fully expecting me to say Obama, when I told her McCain she went 'eeew!'. Yeah, I get it, he looks old, but really ? Your vote cancels mine out ?

Ew.

It's like when you see some of the stupidest posters complaining how stupid the average American is.
It makes me OMG for America

Well, there's also the bit where most of those points (except the first one, of course) are flat out wrong, but what the hell..

Oh look: another Obama is a Muslim thread started by a democrat.

Oh look another Republicans believe Obama is a Muslim thread started by a Democrat.

You can thank Fox News...I mean the Fox Comedy Channel, Limbaugh, Drudge, Newsmax and an ignorant electorate who will just swallow their bullshit whole.

Maybe if that ilk would stop peddling known lies these threads wouldn't be necessary.

It'd be so much better if news only came from your party.

In other Obama-poll related news, a YouGov / The Huffington Post poll asked the question "Do you think that Barack Obama loves America?" and the response, especially from Republicans, is genuinely surprising. Obama, to no one's surprise get good marks from Democrats and his Independent voter score tracks along his favorability but the shocker was only 11% of Republicans responded positively.

Overall a very interesting poll, though the 11% has me questioning the poll itself, even if just slightly.
