Lets face it. FX1 just actually said, out loud, that nobody owns a GTX690.
He needs a filter. Too much dirt getting into the mainframe. Don't know why he comes out with this stuff.
Because NO ONE DOES. Yes, on this forum people do of course. It's a HARDWARE forum. That's like going to a mercedes forum and seeing people that own an S55 AMG. How many people do you know though that own an S55 AMG? No one. That's like me saying "Wow, everyone owns million dollar homes!" because I look out my house and I see lots of million dollars homes. You're living in a small subset of gamers. Login to a CS server, and ask how many people own a GTX 690.
The sad thing is you say people own GTX 690s without ANY data. So, I'll back myself with data since you won't.

"27.29% are DX10, 52.66% are DX11"
Of DX10 and DX11 owners this chart shows the breakdown by GPU of who owns what.
http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/directx/
GTX 690 .20% April 2013
GTX Titan .06% April 2013
So you mean to tell me that of the 80% (rounded up from 79.95%) of gamers that own DX10 and DX11 capable cards, .2% own GTX 690s. So .16%(79.95%*.2%=.16% use google to verify if your math is bad) of gamers own GTX 690s. Please don't sit here with a straight face and with any certainty tell me that's a large percentage of the gaming community.
@SirPauly
My mistake. Then again, it simply shows the market penetration is small enough that it needs to be in a subset of data. I just hate it when people on here talk about the GTX 690 and Titan and 7990 like the average user owns these cards. Yes, tons of people own high end cards on here because it's a hardware forum. 96% of people do not a GTX Titan, GTX 690, 7990, 7970 or GTX 680. The fact that people somehow think this influences a large portion of the market is just beyond me. I always thought PC forums/users were multitudes more educated and informed than console gamers, or that they'd make the effort/find the data to inform themselves since pc gaming just in general to setup takes more intelligence but maybe I'm wrong. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for the data.
