Guess NOT.....the rules made and followed are the rules the Democrats sued for and won on Tuesday. That same day they were saying how good and fair this ruling was......can't have it both ways...

Gore will keep on doing what liberals do best until he is elected. I just hope Bush, the courts, and ultimately the law stands its ground.

Gore is showing his true colors by challenging the recounts that he asked for. Even after getting the rules changed after the election to suit his purpose, he still lost. So, what's he going to do? Sue the Democratic flunkies on the canvassing boards.

Russ - Florida law allows the party requesting a manual recount to select 3 precincts in which to do the count and the canvassing board has to select more if needed to get to 1% of the total vote. There are zero standards or definitionss of what would constitute and error big enough to support a manual recount. It basically is in the hands of the canvassing board. The only "rigging" of the PBC recount was what was authorized by law.

From what I can tell, PBC had an additional 192 Gore votes in it. The Democrats like to say that the dimples were not counted, but what they leave out is that they were considered, and then rejected. Every ballot was examined. The canvassing board had an approach to the count and that approach is supported by the court case cited by both the Florida Supreme Court and the Circuit Court. I doubt that Gore will win that point. If anything, the standards in Broward County were so loose that Bush might be able to knock Gore votes out in a contest.

PBC chose not to count over Thankgiving and they missed the deadline. They missed every d^mn prediction they made so far, so why expect Harris to believe the "only another two hours" plea.

Miami-Dade first voted no on the manual recounts and then voted yes (after the original certification deadline had passed and before the Florida Supreme Court stayed the certification), and then no once they realized they would never finish in time. Seems like a tough contest to me.

The real hope for the Democrats and bad position that the Republicans are in is Semonole County.

Just as Palm Beach wasn't a gold mine for Gore(they would of only picked up a net gain of 200 or less), Dade will not be a gold mine. The Miami-Dade hand recount, started with the heavily Gore areas, where he was getting 75% of the vote, they finished those areas, and then decided to only count the "undervote" behind closed doors. This was when the riot happen. Gore would not have picked up 156 votes in Dade. If the pattern continued Bush would of had a net gain of 400, not Gore. Gores a bit silly in contesting Dade, it WILL backfire, just like Palm Beach.
