Jeez, the price dropped another 20.00 since I posted this deal was alive again.:thumbsup:

What's amazing is the 500GB 8MB cache version here (500GB w/8MB cache) is the same price as the 500GB with 16MB cache model, but without the free shipping. :Q

that's what i was wondering too, but I decided to go for it when the price was down. it's weird because Seagate's site doesn't have a -RK description. most yahoo search point to that drive being 8mb cache. I guess I'll find out when i get the drive
