For those who care the 16MB cache version is the same price as the 8MB cache version, both are 189.99. The nice thing is the 16MB cache ships for free and the 8MB cache version does not have free shipping.

that's what i was wondering too, but I decided to go for it when the price was down. it's weird because Seagate's site doesn't have a -RK description. most yahoo search point to that drive being 8mb cache. I guess I'll find out when i get the drive
