Thanks, Lichee, for mentioning my post. :)
I was out all day so didn't get a chance to update the deal - $2.99 is great, isn't it?:D BestBuy sucks from time to time, but somethimes you get amazing deals (the free AR MS mouse wheel optical comes in mind)...

Amazing what I pay for floppies to back up my rock stable, DOS, storage unit program.

Um, am I the only one who thought his was for FILM? I did think it was a crazy price... I previously got some 8pk of Fuji film 35MM from target for <$3.00ea pack (and it wasn't even expired--still has almost a year). So, I was thinking that's gotta be a mistake 50pk (Didn't even think you could buy that many in a pack retail) for $2.99! I Forgot that they make other media too. D'oh.

:p

I got in on this as well,

You just cannot beat this price adn from the 100 fo these I used previously,
the only coasters were my fault, they seem high quality adn I highly recommend them.

There was plenty left Monday but I just don't get it, they are selling the 100pack of Fuji's for $44.00 when you can get 2 of these for $5. The 100 pack is just 2 50 packs shrinkwrapped together.

FYI there were about two dozen left in the new Best Buy store in Mira Mesa (San Diego) this afternoon for 2.99.

So the price in the ad was 4.99? It's just me, but I'd prefer to pay that price instead and not have to worry about the rebate. Think I'll grab a few packs myself if the ad says 4.99, I'll try to get it to ring at that price.

well i doubt u will get it at $4.99 with no rebate. there is always a catch.

$2.99 is not bad....although plenty of people have said they didnt get their rebates yet...

Thanks for the heads up, I got in on this deal. Hopefully, they won't try and screw up the rebate. :)

As far as the rebate goes, you can fill out the info on line and get the
rebate in 20 days. Worked for me last time (certainly was close to 20
days). Much better than the usual 8-10 weeks.

$2.99 for TY blanks. Helluva deal.

Alright, I'm doing this myreward.info online rebate thing since it's supposedly faster. After I plug in all my info, I arrive at a screen that tells me to mail in:

a. Printed copy of 'this' screen
b. Original or photocopy of the receipt
c. Original UPC code
d. The original eBates(s)

It's the final one that I'm confused about. Is it saying to include the original paper rebate form? How can I snail mail an eBate if it's electronic?

Wouldn't think to post this except for what happened last night. I usually say that there is little difference between any brands of CDRs, as I've rarely had coasters with any I've ever bought. Last night however, I learned that PNY CD-R (unsure if they're taiwan or tokyo) that came in a 50 pack spindle would not burn in my friend's ricoh 7040a (I formerly had the same drive and it burned just about any CDR I ever put in it) but these Fujis would. So strike one up for the TY Fujis and one against the PNY crappo CDR.

lzpoof,

IME, everything will burn in my Sony 4x and 12x Plextors. But, whether the media will play in certain audio players has been the problem for me. I use my brother's POS Bose car stereo and my Memorex portable as "worst case" players. If they will play in my bro's player, and if they will buffer to anti-skip in my Memorex, then I consider them as the best I can find.

I've only had 3 brands/OEM's that I can count on doing this every time.

TY's are one of them. These Fujis are about all I use anymore.

Went to Roseville yesterday, got in on the deal. $2.99 for a 50 pack is great, even though I don't believe in rebates. Still waiting for my $50 GF3 BB Black Friday MIR to show up.
