i dont know about 50 cent. but his songs have beats that are so catchy...

anyways, not all of hip hop is a bunch of neanderthals. take dr. dre for example. he has taken 50 cent and eminem and made millions by manipulating most of white suburbia into buying these albums.

i think dre probably is smart enough that he could have been anything he wanted. will smith got into MIT ..... p. diddy and master p i'm sure didnt creat their 300 million dollar net worths, without brain power. i hope some of you dont automatically judge the intelligence of people strictly based on the genre of music they are involved in.... as you will likely be wrong about many of them

Not that I am at all defending this neanderthal, but I don't know of anyone who would choose to be raised in such a horribly disadvantaged environment.

Be thankful you have a family who gave you what you needed to succeed.

Neanderthal ?

Is that your defination of neandderthal? Someone who makes $$ millions, gets all the attention, press, media, is famous and has mad women lurking around his pyjamas ?

Wow .. you just put neanderthal in a really high platue today. The Cro magnons would love to hate you.

If you do not like his music , do not buy or listen to it. Or come up with something better. Why complain ?

On yahoo LAUNCH, it is video #1 .. and most watched.

Just shows what neanderthal audience we have .. not artists.

Popularity != Quality. In fact, one could argue that the two are complete opposites.

I absolutely agree with about that equation. However, why is he popular ? Cause peopel like his style . .. it HAS to have something special to get the attention of the masses.

Nope. 50Cent is a product of perfect marketing.
His material was much better before Get Rich or Die Trying.

I know Master P is a smart person. I saw an interview with him, as a business man and not a rapper.

He talked about how he sangs the songs he sang to make money. He knew it was what people wanted and he gavie to them. He knew his popularity would soon die off so he went into other markets such as movie production, clothing, etc.. He does some property dealings as well I think.

Its all about money. These guys are smarter than you think. They may know their music is crap, but if it makes money, who's to argue?

Let me just say that I share Skoorb's sentiments. Before you call me a "hater", I would just like to say that I prefer the term "The guy on the grassy knoll from which 50 Cent will be introduced to 50 caliber"

Some of them are smart. Mostly the artists that move on to be producers. Master P, P Diddy, etc. But I also saw a show recently how a lot of the guys who flash the most money actually have the least. Spending all of yer money or money that isn't yours typically isn't considered smart.

50 cent? Who cares? Just more rancid music atop a steaming pile of putrid releases that is the music industry these days.

You sure on the .50? That stuff's kind of expensive these days.

Besides, he deserves a proper "gangsta" killing. Shoot him with a pair of Glocks held sideways from a moving car. :p

Hey, whats a couple dollars to ensure I never have to hear any new music from him? Plus, with a 50 BMG, as long as someone gets a picture of him after impact, there wont be any "50 cent still lives" theories, like there are with Tupac. The only way you cold get me to not use a 50 cal is by giving me something bigger... 20mm, 40mm, or even a 120mm with a canister round...

EDIT: There may be some "I found part of 50's lung in this tree 30 feet away" theories. Some of them might even be correct :p

Skoorb, just cause his music doesn't appeal to you don't mean other people don't like it. To some people this is music and they like it.

Would a 40mm HE M203 round do? Be careful though, they tend to "loft" in the wind because of low velocity, so take a few shots to make sure you get him.

50 drives around in a car more secure than the popemobile boys. good luck! and they " ride around with guns the size of little bow wow". wouldnt doubt it.

If I take a shot from only 100 yards away, I dont care how big of a gun he is carrying, if he holds it sideways, I'm safe. Plus, a 50BMG will penetrate most armored cars

I dont know, maybe I'll just borrow a GAU-8 out of an A-10 and mount it on a Suburban. Pop the sucker in neutral, have a friend drive as I fire out the back... The upside is he wouldnt have to hit the gas during the getway...
