I think a part of a lot of people's dislike/hatred of whatever their particular poison has a whole lot to do with not understanding the whole culture...like if i say <insert popular rock band here>'s cds selling is akin to putting up billboards saying IT'S COOL TO LOVE SATAN...aside from making a gross generalization without being familar with the subject matter, id be assuming that the people who buy it don't know how to separate entertainment from instruction.

Although i personally don't care for 50 cent too much myself.

Take aol for example, Most of us think it sucks and it's a ripoff that could use a lot of improvements etc. But you know what? IT SELLS! Well I don't know much about "punk" music but they are on my Madden 2k3 game so I used them as an example. But my point is still the same I don't really care for what that are singing about but I don't think they are stupid, dumb or anything else I just deleted the song and put in a song I liked "Teen sprit"
