This switch r0x0rs. It gets hot, though. Use it to warm your coffee at your next LAN party.

Does microcenter offer PRice Matching ?

Since pcclub has this for 19.99 - 10 mail in rebate = $9.99

if micro has PM then we can ask for the 19.99 price - $20rebate = Free

or something along those lines ;)

I want to get this so bad. But can't b/c I already have a router that have 5 ports and it's wireless too. So far I use only 2 ports. :D

A hub is like sticking your head out the window with a megaphone and shouting "HEY, BOB!". In other words, it broadcasts data transmissions to every computer connected to the network and waits for the correct one to pick up the packets.

A switch is like picking up the phone and calling Bob. Meaning, it intelligently manages data packets and sends them to individual computers on the network, wherever the packets indicate they're supposed to be going.

Sorry to rain on your parade...but this is not technically correct since in screaming Hey, Bob you are broadcasting through a connectionless system and more than one person could yell back and bob and say hey idiot get back in the car. Therefore more than just those connected to the switch could transmit back...Bob being on the phone however would be technically correct for the analogy.

Now say that bob was a convict and had to speak across a phone when people came to see him everyday. A supervisor and the other person on the phone could listen in on their conversations. They can all hear each other, but only one person gets to talk at a time...and no one else gets to be part of the conversation.
