I'm pretty sure that he was into Perknose for $500 as well, so there's that. And Perk is a mod (no call out) so if he starts welshing on bets, he's got some muscle coming after him. Not that I'm encouraging cleaning up P&N by getting rid of posters who offer absolutely nothing to the conversation except blatant partisan propaganda that not even a partisan strategist could approve of.... That would be.... unfair....

While I have no proof he won't pay up these bets, out of the countless times he's been proven wrong I've never once seen him admit it. Paying these bet's would be admittance he was wrong here. I'm not sure how he'll spin this one, but I'm defnitely awaiting his return to this thread. While I'd assume most in a situation like this would probably just stay away or simply ignore everything like it never happened. I actually predict he'll be back and have some batshit crazy things to say.

Spidey was right about fundamentally transforming American. He was just very, very wrong about who and how.

I doubt it will fundamentally change. President Obama has taken money from the banks as well...

the Supreme Court is no longer in danger of becoming a fundamentalist court within the next four years though.

Not correct, I had no monetary bet with Spidey. My pic had to do with Spidey's endless screams of "IT'S MY MONEY".

I never bet with Spidey, unfortunately. On the bright side, I doubt we will him around here much for a while.

Because special Olympics Athletes don't go up to the spectators and spit in their faces...

Spidey has figuratively done that in these forums repeatedly with his fucking stupid and ignorant posts and did so with glee.



Indications are that he will never be a civilized participant in these forums so I don't feel compelled to have a civilized person's regard for whatever he spews into the P&N threads. Besides with his CCW he's the irl equivalent of a forum tough guy. He can take it.

Additionally I have to question the critical thinking skills of people who would defend him in even an oblique way.

TLDR: He brings it upon himself... don't forget the absolute glee he displays when a person is shot and the circumstances aren't clear.

How much has he paid out so far? What was at stake anyway? I've not been following all this election betting. Regardless, I'm about 90% he's not going to pay.

He lost a $500 bet to Perknose a few years ago (IIRC, the O'Donnell Senate race) and did pay up.

Spidey is an idiot, but there have been numerous bets he has lost on this forum. Posters have verified that he has paid up in the past.
