I'm holding out for the one with programable OLCD screens on each key.

That thing is badass.

I won't tell if you start drooling.

Dont you read DT?? the keyboard is going to be $1,200!!
The price will drop eventually.
Or hopefully I'll make enough when it comes out to justify spending my money one.

dont hold your breath. estimates range into the tens of thousands of dollars (USD) per keyboard.

eh i remember them saying like 300$
I'd buy it now in a heartbeat.

I'd have to use one first though, as a programer, the tactile feel of my input devices is key. :D

I rather fancy the look of the ergonomic one; but I bet I'll have slightly less positive feelings when it comes time to speed $600 to save the basic function of my hands.

I've got the orginal Dinovo keyboard and mouse set. This new board looks great.

I'd not seen that, do they sell them at B&M stores? I'd love to try one out. I'd definetly buy that waiting for the Optiumus.

WTF? You must be rounding up to the nearest ten-thousand then, I've heard as much as 600 and as low as 350 MSRP.

$1200 with 130 keyboards available, think you can resell on ebay?

HERE is a link to the set i own.

The latest version has a different colour tone (silver as opposed to dark grey like mine), as well as a laser mouse. The set i have is not sold anymore by the looks of it.

Those Optimus LCD keyboards are nothing more than vaporware right now. Last I heard, the OLED keys were expected to cost $10 A KEY, making the keyboard cost about $1,100 just to produce. Add in the costs for R&D and a healthy profit margin, and you're looking at a $2,000 retail priced keyboard.

If you can find someone willing to spend two grand on a keyboard, let me know. I want to work for that person :)
