I'm in for Sat. When would be cutoff for Sat.?

Would be Friday (tomorrow) at around 4PM CST so I can collect everything again.

Is everyone ok with $11 per share this time, with the $1 going towards running costs?

To make things easier, I would also like to add any winnings we get $15 or less will go towards vivi's choice, based upon discussion with current group lotto members. Anything more per share will get paid out.

I'm down with that...

What was ever decided for the leftovers from the last drawing?

This is what i'll be adding basically:

IMPLICIT RULES:

By sending in the funds, you are in no way allowed to sue anyone involved in this group for this event. I am running this for fun, in hopes of making us all rich, so let's be nice to each other.

To make things easier, I would also like to add that any winnings where we get $15 per share or less will go towards vivi's choice, based upon discussion with current group lotto members. Anything more per share will get paid out.

and the $11 per share.

Sounds good to me.

Sounds good. I also like the idea of a new scanner. Anything to help this be less of a chore on your end helps everybody.

Sounds good to me...in the end if anyone doesn't abide by those rules we can take them out behind the shed and fix their wagon:whiste:

Three things:

My buy-in for 2 shares included a $5 tip for Vivi (since I paid with a $25 Amazon gift card). So yeah, any future buy-ins should include a little something extra for Vivi's time/gas/webhosting.

Vivi--Why is it necessary to input the #s on a spreadsheet again? This whole thing is supposed to a fun chance at possibly winning the jackpot. Why can't you just scan the tickets, post it on your website...have the tickets checked at a gas station and let us all know if we won anything? I don't think you need to go through a lot of effort on this since you're already collecting the money to purchase tickets for us.

Take any winnings from last night and purchase Megamillion tickets for Friday's drawing.

I am in for at least 1 share if you guys want to set up another run this Saturday 5/11/13.

Oh, Vivi, you may want to add onto the rules that you mentioned above that anyone who plays will need to be at least legal age to purchase lottery ticket(s).

A properly laid out spread sheet just lets everybody else know what we won immediately without him having to go to the store. I imagine he's a busy dude and might not get to it for a while, but it's fun to know what we won. With all the help it was filled out in like 10 minutes anyway.

Looks awesome, but does it extract the numbers from the scan and put it on an excel sheet?

I don't own it yet, just been keeping an eye on it to buy, but specifically for its capability to "scan into excel" feature.

From all reviews, it can scan everything on the sheet into excel, so the lottery numbers should be a breeze.

haha, we can do that, but I think people like to be involved a bit, and this way we have preliminary OH SHIT WE WON, or didn't get anything. The $5 tip was appreciated!

hmmmmmmmmm, that looks nice then. I am wondering though, if people LIKE entering these into an excel sheet or not.

I guess I wasn't too worried about it last night. I figured Vivi would tell us if we were millionaires or not. :p

Because I'd like to see the ~$150 winnings from last night to go toward tomorrow night's Mega Millions drawing....

If a scanner is necessary, I'm suggesting: Each share for this upcoming Lotto Pool is $12 ($10 for share, $1 for your time/whatnot, $1 for scanner). :)
