If you actually look at him, it is pitiful. He worked his way up to being a hedge fund manager and CEO of this huge biotech company and then trolls his way straight into prison. The crimes he committed, while being crimes, would not have been prosecuted had he just stfu and stopped trolling people.

But now that we're on the topic, the judge is supposed to pass a sentence commensurate with common practice under common law. Since the common practice with these sort of execs is don't prosecute them, the point seems clear enough.
