I need some help. Recently my 4870 has developed a problem with overscanning in games. Just FYI, I'm using a Samsung 1080p TV. Anyway, It's always overscanned by default, but I always used to go into CCC and correct it, and all was good. However, with the 11.11 drivers, it started to go back to default when Civ5 booted up, and won't go back to the corrections that I put into CCC. When I quit, or ctrl+alt+del back to desktop the overscan corrects, but when I re enter the game the overscan returns, moving many of the buttons off the edge of the screen, and making the game unplayable. I stopped playing Civ5 for a month because of this. Now, having just updated to the new 11.12 drivers, SoSE does the same thing, which is really frustrating.
I don't want to go back to the old drivers (if I can even find them) because I'm worried about how that will affect Skyrim. Does anyone have any solutions? All the hits on google seem to be over a year old, and given that I didn't have a problem with the same setup back then, I doubt they'd be applicable today.
