Yep I've felt that weather. I recall a month of it when I was in high school. I walked to the school (lived a few blocks away) then got there to find out it was cancelled, so walked back. Fun. What's really cool is when at night you see ice crystals under lights. Really cool effects.
When it's not windy it actually gives a whole new meaning to "holy night". More like "Holy shit it's cold, but look at the light, it's so pretty!"

4 degrees F, -15 F windchill here at the moment. I was just outside for half an hour and was actually surprised to see what the temperature was when I came back in. I'm apparently getting used to it. I'm still hating it. I HATE chopping ice out of water buckets.

btw, test the spit thing out. I don't know if anyone's really definitively figured out the temperature at which this happens, except for very cold. (Definitely below 40 below.) 20 below isn't nearly cold enough.

haha you'd probably need more like -100 for that. Spit hits the ground in a bit under a second and the fact that it contains all sorts of nasty germ chemicals probably brings the freezing point lower then just water. Though tears tend to freeze or get a little thick if you eyes water when it's -50. I've never had it turn to actual ice though, it just gets super cold and feels like it's about to freeze.
now, spitting gum out of a car on the highway. That's asking to break someone's windchill. 😛 (no not really)
