When in Nicauragua, and there only 20 syringes int eh whole hospital. Yeah you reuse them, you clean them out in between patients, but yeah you reuse them.

he is right. when they go to foreign countries they do re-use them. Granted they are sterilized.

but thats mainly to cut cost so they can hopefully save more lives.

Are you familiar with the concept of a glass and metal syringe? Those are sterilized and re-used many many times.
