I never bother hooking up the exhaust and all the little stuff till I know I dont have to pull it out again. I have also rushed to hear the damn thing run just so I can relax as well

You should post a timeline of all your sub $1k cars.

He's over 4k into the car already, probably closer to 5k by now.
And? He still paid less than $1k for the car. He could put $50k into the car, it was still a sub-$1k car.
Slag was talking about the value of the car now compared to what he paid in the beginning + cost of what was done to it to get where it is now.
He definitely didn't pay $400 and end up with the car on the dyno video.
