People snap all the time, having a gun around just makes it worse. I'm sure they bought the gun for "protection."
 
Alcohol and guns very seldom mix. Appears this was an incident waiting to happen. Due to the fact the man had a large gun collection, I doubt the gun was purchased for "protection" .

Having a gun makes my penis feel bigger. Isn't that worth dying for. Plus when I go to sleep at night I fantasize that if the bogey man sticks his head out from under my bed, I'll blow it away. This helps me sleep. What conservative brain defective give a fig about rationally analyzing real risk when you can twiddle your dick. Certainly not me.

You really should burn clothes after getting blood on them. It makes it that much harder for the police to prove a case against you. And it eases conflict in the home. The washing machine can be used for ordinary laundry and the gas grill for cleaning up evidence. Two appliances, less waiting.

Alcohol and idiots rarely mix. More people own knives than guns. Rather than banning guns how about people get alcohol registration instead. If you fail the drunk test, you are not allowed to drink. A lot more lives would be saved.
