Uh, outside of what do the numbers mean, exactly what questions?
We know the island is a "special" place on earth and can do weird things.
Outside of that.....

Just some questions I have:
Who is Richard Alpert? What's up with him?
Where is Claire?
What with the reappearances of Christian Shephard?
Who's the 'man in black' / Jacob? Who's the 'good guy' and who's the 'bad guy'?
How can Hurley see dead people?

The Island made him special.

Where is Claire?
The Island has her.

What with the reappearances of Christian Shephard?
The Island is responsible.

Who's the 'man in black' / Jacob? Who's the 'good guy' and who's the 'bad guy'?
Well, that one needs to be answered.

How can Hurley see dead people?
Its the Island doing it.

Remember the end of Battlestar Galactica? Just insert "it was the island" everywhere you heard "it was God".

Anyon else getting excited?

Honestly - I hadn't thought about it until recently - too long of a break between seasons. I started watching LOST during the middle of Season 4 - when you could watch all of the episodes on ABC.com.

I expect the same amount numerous plot twists with barely any questions answered - and I honestly won't be surprised it they end the season with a lot of questions unanswered as well as a huge cliff hanger to make us go "WTFFF?!?!?!" [or maybe not since they say this is the last season - so hopefully they'll bring closure to the entire series].

Oh..and I've tried those #'s in the lottery - it's not working. 🙂

Well, you're just not "special"🙂
This season is supposed to go straight thru with no breaks. Hopefully that's the case.

It really was the first "internet" show, instead of a "water cooler" show. I found myself checking things out online immediately after every episode. Looking at screen caps, finding out translations of foreign language phrases, plots of books mentioned, historical origins of characters names, etc.

Remember when the Blast door in the hatch came down and there were notes and maps on it? The weeks after that were insane on the Lost sites. Loads of theories and observations. It was hard following all that but tons of fun.

Jacob made him special.

Co-creator and executive producer Damon Lindelof is one of the few people who knows how it'll end and what questions will be resolved.

"Our rule of thumb is if the characters who crashed on Oceanic 815 care about it, or if the answer is relevant to them, we're going to answer it," he said. "But if it's a mystery that the fans care about that has no bearing on the lives of our character, we're not going to answer it.

"This is a character-based show. We care more about emotions, motivations and ultimate destinies of the people. We don't care about who built the statue."

aww looks like quite a few of the islands mysteries will be left unanswered. I want to know who build the statue, the temple, the wheel and the rest of the history of the island.
