The creators are promising the mother of all mindfucks in episode 3. Knowing those guys, can't hardly wait.

Well, the bomb couldn't possibly have done what Faraday said it might, reset the timeline where the plane lands at LAX without crashing, could it?

Unless of course, it lands, but the Losties still remember everything that happened. Then, they might have to try and get back to island again, though that would just be replaying last season.

I plan to DVR it until the second to last episode and start watching it then. I watched all the other season in chunks and can not actually understand how someone can watch it from week to week. They cliffhang ad naseum to the point that it isn't fun to watch (and that is when I have the next episode at my disposal).

You mean like Jacob is really Kate and Jack's child?

Or that Jacob brought the Losties to the island because they were going to do something in the real world that was evil?

Or that Jacob is the bad guy, the "man in black" the good guy, and so Ben is really a "good guy"?

Or, how about Jack's father is really Aarons father? (Jacks father was a perv). Or, better yet, Jack is actually Aarons father after an alcohol fueled binge he doesn't remember?

Or that the Losties are really Cylons?

Can't wait. I'm regretting not jumping on that Amazon deal back in December - all 5 seasons on BD for $108.

At first I thought this was an obscure reference to the newest prime number found recently, 4x larger than the previous.

anywhere i can go to find a recap of everything that happened previously (without having to go to wikipedia and reading summaries of every episode)?

They typically do a summary show in the week, or even the hour, leading up to the premier. As this will be the final season, I imagine it will recap the entire series.

Edit: there are also Youtube recaps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIuXZ37GQIs (I have not watched these so do not know how good they are).

Hugo is the only real character, everyone else is his creation.

I've been trying to avoid all the hype so I don't keep thinking about the show...but its not working

I hope they don't do some asshole move and have everyone die at the end, or have everyone shocked then black screen

Uh, outside of what do the numbers mean, exactly what questions?
We know the island is a "special" place on earth and can do weird things.
Outside of that.....

I'm super psyched about it. I totally forgot about last season's finale with Locke and Jacob. I need to go back and watch it so I can get back up to speed. I got them all on my DVR still. Plus theres always the 1 hour recap before the season premier.

Its on at 9 - Wednesday nights, right?

Lost is the greatest television experience of my life. It's that good.

It really was the first "internet" show, instead of a "water cooler" show. I found myself checking things out online immediately after every episode. Looking at screen caps, finding out translations of foreign language phrases, plots of books mentioned, historical origins of characters names, etc.

i'm 1 season behind.

when season 5 came, i watched the first episode and somehow i totally forgot what happened in season 4.

ugh. i need one of those recap episodes. and ill watch season 5 first.

Season 5 was when things really got wacko. I doubt if you could just pick it up without a recap epi, so watching 5 first would be a good idea. Or else you could read a summary of season 5 online. I think you could find it at lostpedia.
