I don't know what to say...you must have a mental defect if you see money in every post of mine.

If you cannot understand how it makes sense in a pothead thread then you are simply trolling now.

I actually agree with this, scary isnt it.

If you are living below or near the poverty line then smoking pot is probably not a great idea. Just like having a drinking problem, eating out all the time, or other high dollar hobby would not be a good idea either.

I don't, Nik does. He says it's because he is close friends with so many people. He literally knows when someone drinks in the morning, at lunch and in the evening through these great relationships he builds.

Then they discuss their net pay and how they are going to spend it over the next two weeks.

Wrong. I don't know anyone who spams SMS's about how they're drunk and high all the time.

You're projecting and exaggerating and outright fucking lying. Again.

But what else is new, Alky?

Do you really want me to quote every post of yours in this thread where you bring up finance when it's not part of the logical conversation?

It's almost every single post in every thread with you.

Because in this thread finances have a big part in the whole 420 thing.

Look at that poster above trying so hard to help his mom and brother, yet still blows $300 month on weed and has absolutely no savings.

And then you have this morning at the gas station. I have a 84 cent diet coke. Give the dude a dollar and 4 cents. He's like "Whoa man, I had a long day yesterday *chuckle chuckle*...let me think here....that 50 cents back?"

So dude can't even think clearly enough to just punch 1.04 into the register and do the math for him. He's about ready to had out 2.5x the change I was supposed to get.

I think he was stoned even this morning.

So most of the time this weed talk is one of financial irresponsibility and I am tired of being affected by it, especially by those on subsidized health care and welfare.

No, you just can't not-see finance. You're obsessed with money and it controls every facet of your life. You are a slave to it. You judge anyone and everyone because of your obsession. It's obviously poisoned you.

A slave to it? I'd say it gives me freedom, like being able to spend $400 on xrays for my dog, spending $150 a month to feed cats in the neighborhood, and my wife heading out to japan next month.

I just hate to see dopers collecting benefits I am taxed for.

I meant in this thread... wasn't specific enough

Yes some was related but a lot really did come out of left field.

You want a dog you need to pay $400 on xrays on, so you need more money. I don't want to have to spend $400 xrays for a dog, so I don't need that $400. That's what I spend on my weed. Different priorities. Although if I cared about having more in life, I would go for it. I don't though.

Although, I am with you on paying for other people who won't help themselves and would rather sit around and do drugs all day. Fuck those guys. You have to contribute something to society if you want something in return. Supporting those who would rather just be parasites is stupid.

It's not being able to spend $400 that is the issue.

You yourself were crying above about trying to help your mom and brother yet can't...that's being a slave.

There really isn't much I can't do and that is freedom. By the end of June the last $10k of debt I have will be gone and I am still saving and all that.

Being a pothead would have eliminated me from this job.

I did not inhale burning plant fumes on 4.20 I did however go sturgeon fishing with a few of my friends and a dude that shot a cop.

I know he was actually acquitted too. Still has a concealed carry permit. Probably the only person to shoot a cop and still have his conceal carry permit. At least in Oregon.

Would you be less of a judgmental asshole to people?

Not really, I'd be more like you...

It's not judgmental when someone says they can't afford A because they blow their money on B, it's pointing out their stupidity and even worse if they are expecting someone else to foot the bill.

See? You're judging people. You're projecting your own priorities to other people's lives and then judging them for making a decision that you wouldn't, whether or not that decision is good for them. Without knowing anything about them or their situation, you immediately judge them based on your own life's issues.

I'm not saying I can't afford anything because I spend my money on certain things. If I wanted those things, I would get them. Also, you still have 10k in debt while I have no debt. You owe people money and I don't. How can you claim to be free?

It is judgmental. You're saying that they are somehow wrong for choosing to live their life differently than yours. Excluding situations where that money is being spent on recreation over necessary costs of living, it's none of your fucking business. People are free to live as they choose.

This is about that. I am all for that other thread where people are trying to work at mcdonalds.

I don't get the threads where someone is crying about not being able to care for a kid or pet while in previous posts talking about their new XBox, HDTV, handgun, video card etc.

You claim to drink 30 beers almost every weekend. I think that's a stupid way to spend money and destroy your health. to each his own.

Who was doing that? Who in this thread was doing that? Nobody. I keep getting infractions for calling people like you what you really are. Oh why oh why must the truth be so hurtful ;|

Its 21, about $25 a week vs the $300+ others are spending when without health insurance, their own places to live or any savings.

Instead it's our job to bail them out so they can get high.

You yourself stated you are trying to bail yourself out of debt, help your brother with college money and your mom pay her bills but at the same time blowing more than a third of your disposable income on weed and more than 10% of your take home pay.

Are you in denial?

Who the hell smokes $300 a week? :D I spend $50 a week. Most of my friends who drink spend that in a night at the bar. So you stay home and drink crappy beer all weekend? You sure like to generalize...
