I'm confused here. You first say "As if Bush was the first President to lie to the American public, he certainly won't be the last." Then you say "Lied, no."

I stated some of you are so hellbent on proving he's a liar you're missing the real issues going on. While "some" people crying about getting their feelings hurt, other's are risking their lives in an ongoing war.

The role of President isn't to please you, it's to protect the interests of the country as a whole. Lying is something that will occur, "some" of you act as if Bush might be the first President in the history of our nation to ever lie to the American public.

Get off your high-horse and start realizing there are better issues to argue about. There are several million American's who voted Bush but don't want this war. While you're debating whether Bush lied & asking stupid questions about WMD you could have been putting your brain to work on figuring a way out of the situation rather than complaining about all the things you would have done different.
In other words, we have Yet Another Bush Apologist (YABA) trying to divert accountability for the tens of thousands of innocent people killed due to Bush's mendacity. Figuring out how to get out of Bush's quagmire does not preclude also holding him responsibile for it.

Hardly, more like Yet Another Independant Voter Sick of the Witch Hunt (YAIVSWH). You want to be productive, start with the people who approved the war on Iraq. In the case of Gaard that list includes: Pete Hoekstra, Vernon J. Ehlers, Dave Camp, Jim Barcia, Fred Upton, Nick Smith, Mike Rogers, Dale Kildee & Joseph Knollenberg. You and your ilk speak of accountability, if you're so passionate about the issue then get off your chair and do something about it. Get your ass out and remove senators and representatives who gave Bush approval to go to Iraq. You should be holding them accountable just as much, or even more than Bush. Put up or shut up.

As if Bush was the first President to lie to the American public, he certainly won't be the last. Shut the hell up.

The ever present grammar/English major. Where would be be without you?

You failed to point out I spelled plebeian wrong so you're not as bright as you might think you are. ;)

I tried, dipsh@t. Unfortunately, I was out-voted by bleating Bush apologists like yourself. And no matter how much you try to place blame on Anyone But Bush, the fact of the matter is that he is the one who lied his way into this fiasco. That a bunch of cowards in Congress rubber-stamped his malfeasance does NOT let Bush off the hook.

From reading this thread I gather these missiles wouldn't have gone missing if I had voted for Kerry.

Those responsible for the mistakes in this war should be held accountable.

Thanks, I enjoy the personal insults. You're obviously not spirited enough to do anything beyong voting and crying online how you're repressed in the system. If every Democrat is like you I don't find it at all surprising why 5 of the last 7 President's were Republican.

There's something wrong with your approach to the issue if all you can do is cry and whine about how Bush deceived you. No sh*t he got us into this disaster, and despite that, despite his ineffectiveness in education, despite his inability to cooperate with with the U.N., despite everything else I can list that would take up so much space... you, the people like you and more precisely the Democratic party FAILED to take advantage of his worthlessness.

Rather than thinking everyone is against you, why don't you think of why you're ticking people off to the point of feeling indifferent to your agenda. (not aimed at you specifically, but the liberal community here)

Need I show more? Oh yeah, it must not be true since the source isn't from fox/cnn/msnbc :disgust:

They can make ATM machines that can count down to a fraction of a cent, but can't make simple voting machine that tally up votes? Gimme a break.

More weaponry to grind up our boys with. Now what, "moderate" Bush voters?
That's just peachy. First high explosives, now anti-aircraft missles, all easily smuggled into the United States. I'd like to congratulate King George and his minions on one of the biggest fiascos in modern history, a Royal Mongolian Cluster Fsck (RMCF) if ever I saw one. For someone who claimed he was trying to keep weapons out of the hands of terrorists, George and his bumbling fools have done a damn fine job of arming them.

Let me add a special thank you to the mindless sheep who voted for four more years of this lunacy. I'm beginning to think you're as amoral as your feckless leader. There seems to be no bottom to the evil you will endorse in his name.

:disgust:

They would not be missing if more people voted for Gore. Dub should be held accountable.

Yes it is the liberal that are trying people off that is why they get the mojority of the moderate vote.Bush won because people voted for him after voting to ban gay marrages.
