Does windows ME really have that crappy performance? Because I am running it and I get 1800 in 3dmark2k1. And does anyone else in Windows ME get tearing in Counterstrike and Unrealt Tournament? Or is it my problem? I talked to some guy at Guillemot and he tol dme all these things to do so I could reinstall the drivers and after all that crap he told me to do I still get tearing. argg

Edit: Since this post is mainly off topic, could you please reply to this through private message? I know I hate it when people come into my threads and start asking off topic questions.
 
1800 for 3dMark2001 might not be bad, depends on your rig and the specs on the benchmark

yeah, i was usuing the more familiar 3dMark2000 instead since I discovered my horrid scores.

I still haven't installed the drivers off asus.com partly because I'm afaid I might lose all my info (it's happened 9435843753947543 times previous). What are the odds my comp is gonna go to hell after installing them?
