Hell no...learning is a lifelong experience

Heck, when I graduated with my CS degree last year, I was 34. When I got my engineering degree in my early 20's, there were quite a few gray-haired folk, and they tended to be the better students too. That inspired me to go ahead a purse a 2nd degree years later. I must admit, being older and more mature made me a better student than I was the first go around. To avoid feeling old, just dress like the young folk and listen to whatever music is in vogue ;)

It's never too late to pursue your love of learning.

There were a number of "Ada Scholars" in my undergrad classes at Smith... it was refreshing having the input and opinions of women in their 30's, 40's, 50's, and even 60's. Out of a class of 30 students, two or three would be over 30.

Heh, I had one of those guys in my classes (same guy for three classes). He would ask redundant questions every two minutes and bring the class to a screeching halt. Yeah, don't be that guy.

Seriously.. they bother those of us who are trying to sleep.

I've seen plenty of old college students at the local colleges. If you're 32 and living in the dorms .. THEN I'd have to say you're too old.

I went back to school at 28-30 and wasn't really out of the age group range as a junior/senior. There were mostly 21-22's but at least a 1/3 of each class was mixed bag up to 50/60's.

I did computer science. Some of the business classrooms I looked into seemed to contain many older people....however I can't be sure if they were not Grad classes.

Yep I agree. I was a 37 year old TA at Maryland! :Q And I'm now 40 years old and still taking classes after work. Education is a lifelong activity!

Hmmm you have a lot to learn it seems....many go back to college with even Master's now at much older ages due to the fact that in today's school world college is just an extension of high school.

It seems almost everyone has a B.A./B.S., but many are totally clueless. So to look 'better' many are getting dual degrees even if they won't even be used. Also for many career changes so many HR people are blind to real skills and just ask for check lists of anything possible.
