300 is a horrible movie

I haven't seen 300 yet - but I will before spring break is over. For all you people commenting on sub par dialogue, think about Batman Begins. While Christian Bale was in the bat suit he made the most ridiculous comments - because it is based on a COMIC. Just as 300 is. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it.

300 is no LOTR for sure. But its the best movie out so far... until Spiderman 3/Shrek 3/Transformers come out...

Yeah if they had a category for "Mindless Gore" It was entertaining (unlike Kill Bill2) but I wished I had waited for the DVD instead of spending $20 so the wife and I could see it in the theaters.

Why are you programmed to think that you can't have a solid story and dialog in an action movie? I hate that bullsh1t logic - some of the best movies every made were "action" movies - 7 Samurais, The Good, bad, ugly, assault on precinct 13, Die Hard, Serenity, the LoTr saga, Terminator (1 and 2), whatever Shane Black has written... There are so many action movies with stellar writing..

Also, bad action movies can still be great with GOOD dialog - The Last Boyscout has so many quotable lines and was very entertaining, though the movie wasn't trying to win any awards.

It's lazy to just accept that action movies have to have bad dialog and lots of eye candy. why not just play a video game?

Umm no not at all I'm just expressing my opinion of a movie that has been so highly hyped. Personally I was disappointed by how horrible the movie turned out to be. I'm sure many will disagree strongly and expect some to flame. But that's not the point of the post.
