Yeah seriously... I came on expecting questions about it last Friday, but there was nothing until now?

Anyway... I live on the floor where it occurred and I pretty much know what happened, and you essentially got the idea of what happened, but that's not exactly what happened. I'll just leave it at that.

And the stuff about people being scared, it seems kinda like BS... if you came and visited our floor, you wouldn't even know that it ever happened.

I suggested to my RA that they install video cameras on the doors and record the videos with about weeklong intervals before recycling tapes, but I dunno if they're actually going to do anything. She did mention they might be as drastic as to make you swipe for each door on each floor. That would majorly suck.

Ok so when did this exactly happened?? Last thursday? (12/5/2002?)
So what exactly happened? The 3 guys indeed raped the girl?

weird how sexual assault crimes seem to be excalating lately...haven't heard of a single case on UW's campus though, and we're a pretty large school..guess we can count ourselves lucky.

There's a big difference between a 14 year old freshmen and an 18 year old senior. I'm still curious.

I've been in those dorms doing warranty work and it's easy to get in. Just wait 'til someone opens the door and then walk on in. Once you're inside you have the run of the building.

When I was there, there were a lot of people roaming around the floor. The place must have been deserted that day.

I went to the local college when I was in middle school, so it can be any grade. They didn't say WHY they were there.

And yes I read it but age can be between a early freshman and a senior that has failed several grades and is about to be pushing drinking age. So why not try and think for a second and see if can have a 6 year age gap.

Are you sure? A lot of totally false rumors on this whole thing have been started. The assault occurred on Thursday and then according to UCPD, the suspects weren't apprehended until Tuesday (or maybe Monday). I'm pretty sure they just made the one assault and then left to meet back up with their little tour group or whatever.

Additionally, if they really were with a tour group, the UCLA tours go nowhere near the dorms. And the Fir building is WAY in the back of the whole dorm area. Just take a few of these factors into consideration before you go off spreading more rumors.
