I think alcohol was a factor in her not waking up during the assualt.

30 days is a joke. You would get more as an adult just for having underage porn on your phone, let alone the sexual assault.

Could it be that nothing more than some teen boys writing some lewd words on a naked girl and taking a picture of it?

I am guessing the cops didn't have strong enough evidence to convict them in a rape trial. So they negotiated a plea deal where the boys would admit guilt in exchange for juvenile sentences they got. Such is life sometimes.

So, when frat boys get their unconscious male friends naked and write stuff on them (i'm not saying that getting the guy naked is a standard part of such maneuvers but it happens sometimes) - they've sexually assaulted him? Even if they didn't do anything to his junk?

Perhaps by the strict reading of the law they have... but should they do more than 30 days? Should they do time at all?

Well or you could raise your 15 year old daughter to not get so drunk that she passes out so that people can easily embarrass her?

I actually agree these boys should be punished for that (though I admit I haven't read the article yet, just peoples' summary here of what happened) - but 30 days seems okay to me if there wasn't any evidence of sexual assault.

And I refuse to acknowledge the stripping alone as being sexual assault.
